Bio
Simon is a managing consultant and lawyer at D2 Legal Technology. He joined D2 Legal Technology in 2021 from a US investment bank to drive the digital agenda in the capital markets. His specialisms include smart contracts, digital assets, blockchain/distributed ledger technology and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning.
Simon has worked at leading investment banks, hedge funds and law firms and has experience in a wide range of financial products including OTC derivatives, syndicated loans, structured notes and project bonds.
He is qualified to practice law in England and Wales and has degrees from University of Cambridge and from University of Oxford, and has recently completed the Applied Data Science and Machine Learning programme at MIT. In 2023, he was named as one of ISDA’s Future Leaders in Derivatives.
