Our roles would suit ambitious professionals interested in a broad range of financial services legislation (e.g. Basel III, Dodd-Franks, EMIR, CASS, and CRD IV) and wider capital market issues (e.g. Brexit and Libor). We are always interested to meet qualify professionals in any of the location we do business: EMEA, US, Hong Kong, Australia. Potential applicants should be keen to get exposure across a number of transaction types, including:
- OTC Derivatives (ISDA)
- Listed Derivatives
- Prime Brokerage
- Repos / Stock Lending
- Regulatory Advisory
The type of engagements we work on vary in nature from research and analysis of legal agreements, target operating models to support orchestrated legal divisions and business consumers. Additionally, we work to develop technology solutions to enable legal agreement data to be utilised in reducing legal risk and improving operational efficiency. These activities are key inputs into the development of artificial intelligence technology platforms (used to capture data from contracts). This requires close work and communication with business stakeholders (such as the client CVA and collateral optimisation desks), data modellers and IT developers. Alternatively, candidates may be asked to work on legal-opinion data projects with a focus on netting and collateral enforceability of various master agreements.
There may also be opportunities to get involved in business development / marketing if candidates have an interest in this area. Furthermore, there is opportunity for international travel.
